When wearing gold plated items, it is essential to take care of them properly since this will determine how long the plating will last for.
Follow these 10 tips to make your jewellery pieces last as long as possible:
- Wash your hands before handling the jewellery.
- Put your pieces on after any creams/lotions have been absorbed into your skin.
- Wear your jewellery pieces after having done your make up.
- Use our complimentary GYPSY cloth to polish the jewellery for a few seconds before and after wearing it.
- Avoid using any chemicals to clean your jewellery, polishing it should be enough.
- Remove the pieces before strenous exercise or excessive sweating.
- Avoid swimming, showering, or getting into the ocean with your pieces on.
- Remove the pieces before being exposed to steam e.g. saunas.
- Store the pieces individually in enclosed compartments (box included with every purchase).
- Avoid friction with other objects such as keys, coins, or other jewellery items.
